MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following season, Dopamina was his follow-up album. In 2021 he recorded the duet to TINI's smash single Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo has an instrumental background. Both his mother and elder brother are musicians. He has said in interviews that music is compulsory. As a child, playing the guitar ukulele and piano.
