Mischa barton was born on January 24, 1986, in the city of Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She has also appeared as a character in The Sixth Sense a movie filled with suspense. The O.C. Her TV series The O.C. alongside She starred on the cult TV show The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie, who played her love interest. Benjamin McKenzie was her love interest. Barton was first seen for the first time in a television show as Corvina Lang, a younger Corvina. She played this character in flashbacks on All My Children in 1994. In 1996, she returned to replace Michelle Trachtenberg as Lily Benton Montgomery. She guest-starred in eight episodes of the show Once and Again as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover Katie Singer. The year 2001 saw Barton make her film debut with Lost and Delirious, an independent Canadian production based on Susan Swan's novel The Wives of Bath. Barton together with co stars Jessica Pare, Piper Perabo got mixed praises. Julie Johnson (2001), with Lili Tayet as well as Courtney Love, saw her portraying the role of a daughter who is in a relationship with a lesbian woman. Together they own several gymnastics-related businesses, including the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci also serves on a number of charitable boards that include her position on the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. She is still a supporter of numerous charitable organisations in Romania. This also includes the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital of Bucharest.
