Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico, was born to an affluent family. The music she grew up with was classical, old boleros and traditional romantic, ranchero and ballads of romance. Ana loves the operas and tangos. In addition, she is a fan of the dramatic stage. Ana began to study singing and play music from an early age, along with her mother. The singer received more formal training in singing when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She furthered her training in music with the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was part of numerous opera choirs as well as chamber ensembles. After relocating in America in the year 2000, she joined a chorus of United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before returning to her new home in southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The passion and love she has for arts, music and performing keep her engaged in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her passion and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to spread the desire particularly among the younger generation in order to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
